Weather in Alberta and BC can be wild, and I'm totally ready for it! I always have backup locations on the ready and a flexible approach to timelines. Rain? We dance in it. Snow? We make it work. Complete whiteout? I'll have alternative spots already scouted. This is why our pre-wedding calls are so important—we build in wiggle room for the unexpected.

HELL. YES. Bring whatever you need to make your shoot feel 100% you. I’ve shot couples on a motorcycle, with their pets, and camped out overnight, ripping my jeans for the perfect shot. The more personal and non-traditional, the more genuine the memories. So please, bring on the weird and wonderful!

Most couples go with 6-8 hours for elopements and intimate weddings, which gives us plenty of time to capture everything without feeling rushed. That said, it totally depends on your plans! If you're doing a sunrise ceremony followed by a sunset picnic, we might need more time. If you're keeping it super simple with just vows and portraits, we could rock it in 4-5 hours.
During our connection call, we'll chat about what you're envisioning, and I'll help you figure out the perfect timeline. The goal is to have enough breathing room to actually enjoy the experience instead of checking your watch every five minutes.

I've photographed all over Alberta and BC—from the obvious hotspots like Banff, Jasper, and Canmore to hidden gems in Kananaskis, Golden, Revelstoke, and beyond. Even if I haven't shot at your exact location before, I guarantee I've captured something similar or will scout it ahead of time.
I’m obsessed with finding secret little spots that aren't on everyone's Instagram feed. If your spot is new to me, even better! I'll arrive early, explore the area, and get all excited about fresh angles and light. Exploring new locations is part of why I love what I do!
